This section of NCN Route 5 takes you south from Oxford to Abingdon or Didcot. First through traffic-calmed streets, then joining the off-road path parallel with the railway line, traffic-free paths take you across parkland to the heart of the attractive town of Abingdon. From there the route goes via the beautiful village of Sutton Courtenay arriving in Didcot by the railway station.
From Didcot you can get a train back to Oxford or explore the many beautiful routes around Didcot.
