National Route 5 of the National Cycle Network between Flint via Connah's Quay and on to Chester
is an eight mile traffic-free converted railway path for cyclists, walkers, and wheelchair users.
The route runs along the former Mickle Trafford freight line and is part of National Route 5
between Holyhead and Chester.
