Derbyshire to South Pennines
The Pennine Bridleway is a National Trail suitable for walkers, mountain bikers and horseriders.
The route loosely follows the classic Pennine Way walking route, but allows mountain bikers and horseriders to also enjoy the challenge.
The southern section starts or finishes at Middleton Top in the Peak District National Park, Derbyshire and joins the Mary Towneley Loop at Summit, near Littleborough - wild moorland surprisingly close to Greater Manchester.
