Showing the 326km North West Trail cycle route through the counties Donegal, Tyrone, Fermanagh, Leitrim and Sligo plus other National Cycle Network routes in the North West of Ireland.
The trail meanders through the Yeats country in County Sligo, enjoys dramatic views of the Atlantic Ocean in County Donegal and makes its way through the Mourne and Strule River Valleys in the heart of the Sperrins to the spectacular Fermanagh Lakelands. In County Leitrim the trail takes in a variety of castles and ancient ruins.
The map also includes parts of other long distance routes such as The Kingfisher Trail in County Fermanagh, circular cycle routes in The Sperrins, Co Tyrone and the Ballyshannon cycling hub in County Donegal along with selected day rides for possible detours and other outings. Traffic free sections include riverside paths in Sligo, Enniskillen, Omagh and Dromahair and a forest route through Florence Court Estate, set against the backdrop of Cuilcagh Mountains.
