The route passes through Southport, Aintree, Halewood, Warrington, Sale, Stockport, Hadfield, Longdendale and Barnsley. The map also shows National Route 56 between Liverpool city centre and Childwall where it connects with the Trans Pennine Trail.
With this map and the Eastern section map (RPN08C) you can trace the whole west / east Trans Pennine Trail route.
