The Independent Hostel Guide 2013 is the comprehensive reference to the independent bunkhouses, backpackers and hostels of the UK. The guide has been revised annually for over 20 years, growing with the hostel network. It contains up to the minute information on over 330 places to stay.
Public transport information is included and hostels within 1, 3 or 5 miles of the National Cycle Network are labelled.
Independent hostels are ideal accommodation for individuals, groups and families involved in outdoor activities and sightseeing. The hostels are in a wide range of buildings, from grand city houses to barns and cottages. They generally have self catering facilities and all offer friendly, clean and inexpensive accommodation with no membership requirements.
